Moses Ayom, a presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Sunday called on Nigerians to elect leaders with proven integrity as the 2023 general election approaches.
Ayom who is also the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Granite and Marble Nigeria Limited, made the call in his yuletide message contained in  a statement in Abuja.
Ayom also advised youths, the future leaders of Nigeria, to desist from thuggery and other political violence as the 2023 election draws closer.
“Nigerians at home and in Diaspora should all speak with one voice to elect a good leader with proven integrity to power comes 2023.
“Similarly, as good Citizens, I urge you, my brothers and sisters, to support the Federal, State and Local governments to achieve their set agenda towards achieving dividends of Democracy for all.
“I call on Nigerians in Diaspora to support and bring up ideas for the development of our dear nation, Nigeria.”
Ayom appealed to Nigerians, irrespective of their religion, political and tribal affiliations, to emulate true virtue of love, patient, humility and kindness known with the Lord Jesus Christ.
He also urged citizens to use the yuletide to live in peace and harmony with one another.
“It is a great joy in my heart and special privilege for me to join other Christian  and Muslim faithful across the globe to celebrate the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
“His birth brought Light, Joy and Salvation to the World,” he said
Ayom prayed that may God Almighty grant more wisdom to the country’s leaders, including President Muhammadu Buhari, to enable them to lead the nation to greater heights for peace, development and love beyond the year 2022.
“I am wishing all Nigerians a happy Christmas celebration and a prosperous new year 2022.” (NAN)
