The Guest Lecturer, Prof. Taofiq Abdul-Azeez, enjoined leaders at all levels to fear the almighty Allah, adding that if a leader is God-fearing, he would be merciful to the people.

He also said that a God-fearing leader would display consciousness and insist on the general good of the people and be interested on how people live.

He added that a good leader would not only be interested on policies on paper, but be interested in policy implementation.

” A good leader wants to know who is laughing, who is crying, who is happy, who is sad.

”He is conscious of the fact that the Almighty Allah will ask him about the effect of his leadership on the lives of people generally,” he said.(NAN)
